Privacy Policy

LIFENOVIA ("we", "us") publishes the website at lifenovia.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We have written it to be read, not to be skipped.
1. The short version
- You can read the entire site without giving us any personal data.
- The only data we ask for is an email address, and only if you choose to subscribe or write to us.
- We never sell, rent or trade personal data.
- You can have your data deleted at any time by emailing privacy@lifenovia.com.
2. Who is responsible for your data
LIFENOVIA is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy matter, contact privacy@lifenovia.com. Our postal address is LIFENOVIA, 621 S 26th St, Philadelphia, PA 19146, United States.
3. What we collect
a. Newsletter subscription
If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date and time you confirmed the subscription, and basic delivery information such as whether an email bounced. We use a confirmed opt-in, so we also record the confirmation itself as proof of consent.
b. Messages you send us
If you use the contact form or write to us directly, we store your name, your email address and the content of your message so that we can reply and keep a record of the correspondence.
c. Technical information
Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser user-agent — which exist for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to build profiles of individual readers.
d. What we do not collect
We do not ask for health information, and you should not send us any. We do not collect payment data, because nothing on this site is sold. We do not run advertising networks or cross-site trackers.

5. How long we keep it
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we do not email you again by mistake.
- Correspondence: up to 24 months after the conversation ends, then deleted.
- Server logs: a short rolling window set by our hosting provider, typically measured in weeks.
6. Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site — a web host and an email delivery provider. They process data only on our instructions and only to provide their service. We do not share personal data with advertisers, data brokers or partner marketers, because we do not have any.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@lifenovia.com. We respond within 30 days and we do not charge for it. If you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has subscribed, tell us and we will remove the record.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to subscriber data is limited to the people who need it, and we hold as little data as we can — which remains the most effective protection there is.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant and affects subscribers, we will say so in the newsletter rather than hoping nobody notices.
