A publication for ordinary, busy lives

LIFENOVIA exists because most wellbeing advice is written for a life nobody actually has. We write for the one you do have.

Why we started

The word nova means new. Not new-you, not a reinvention โ€” just the ordinary, repeatable renewal that happens when a few small things finally hold. That is the idea LIFENOVIA was built around.

We kept noticing the same gap. There is excellent research on sleep, food, movement and attention, and there is an enormous amount of content built on top of it โ€” but very little of that content survives contact with a full calendar, a commute and a bad night's sleep. Advice that only works on a perfect week is not really advice.

So we write the other version. What still helps when the week is difficult. What is worth keeping when you can only keep three things. What the evidence actually says, including when it says we are not sure yet.

What you can expect from every article

Evidence first

We start from peer-reviewed research and established public-health guidance, and we name the limits of what is known.

Plain language

No jargon for its own sake. If a term matters, we explain it once, clearly, and then use it normally.

Proportion, not panic

We do not write scare headlines, and we do not describe ordinary foods or habits as poisons or miracles.

Nothing to sell

We do not sell supplements, plans, coaching or cures, and no article is shaped to move a product.

Clear about scope

We are a publication, not a medical service. We say so on every page, because it matters.

Corrections in the open

If we get something wrong, we fix it on the page and note what changed. Quiet edits are not corrections.

How an article gets made

Every piece follows the same short path. We start with a question a reader might actually ask โ€” not a keyword. We read the current literature and the relevant public-health guidance. We draft in plain English, then cut whatever would not survive a hard week. Finally we check the claims: anything stated as established has to be traceable back to something solid, and anything uncertain has to be labelled as uncertain.

What we do not do

  • We do not diagnose, treat or offer personalised medical advice.
  • We do not publish paid articles disguised as editorial.
  • We do not use before-and-after claims, countdown pressure or invented testimonials.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade reader email addresses. Ever.

Who writes here

LIFENOVIA is produced by a small editorial team of health writers and editors. Articles are reviewed for accuracy and tone before publication. If you would like to know who worked on a particular piece, or you want to flag an error, write to us at hello@lifenovia.com โ€” we answer every message.

Important: LIFENOVIA publishes general information for healthy adults. It is not medical advice and it cannot account for your history, medication or conditions. Always speak to a qualified professional before making significant changes, and seek urgent care for urgent symptoms.
